When I first saw this bike, I assumed it was built by someone in the US (probably Arizona). Turns out it’s actually the work of Marcus Walz, the man behind Walz Hardcore Cycles…based out of Hockenheim, Germany. Custom bike fans should be familiar with Marcus as he supposedly invented the “drag style” of motorcycle in the late 90s.
This bike was put together by Lucky 7 Motorsports over a year long period and it features a RevTech 100 cubic inch engine, Walz Hardcore 280 softail frame, Mikuni HRS42 carb, Brembo brakes, and the front forks/wheel from a Suzuki GSX-R 600. Lucky 7 customized the frame to accept the sportbike front end and the driveline – for more information on this specific build, check out this article on Barnett’s Magazine from issue #63, August 2008.
