Produced for just 2 years, the BMW HP2 Megamoto is one of the highest performing boxers ever built by the German firm. Only 107 were brought into the United States at a MSRP of $20,520, making them a very rare and unique supermoto from a company that never would have tried anything like this just a few years before.
The street version of the absurd HP2 Enduro, the HP2 Megamoto features the venerable boxer twin (in this instance pumping out 113 horsepower and 85 foot-pounds of torque). A lot of weight has been stripped out to create something both visually and physically lighter than the average BMW – the Megamoto weighs just 393 pounds. Specifications were excellent, with USD Mazrocchi forks, and Ohlins rear shock, Brembo brakes, and a great sounding Akrapovic exhaust.
This specific BMW HP2 Megamoto has about 21,500 miles and comes with Touratech bar risers and a Isotta windscreen – both made because the seller has started to use it as his touring bike.
