Post Listing Update: This Megamoto got up to $8,600 after 15 bids on eBay, but that wasn’t enough to meet reserve.
Only 107 of the Megamotos made it into the US, and one of them lives 10 buildings down on my street. I can’t stop staring at it when I go by, which is why I’ve been drooling at this listing for the last 10 minutes. Now it’s your turn.
The Megamoto (what a great name) was built for just 2 years, and it was BMW’s idea of a big supermoto. The street version of the absurd HP2 Enduro, the HP2 Megamoto features the venerable boxer twin (in this instance pumping out 113 horsepower and 85 foot-pounds of torque). A lot of weight was stripped out to create something both visually and physically lighter than the average BMW – the Megamoto weighs just 393 pounds. Specifications were excellent, with USD Mazrocchi forks, and Ohlins rear shock, Brembo brakes, and a great sounding Akrapovic exhaust. This bike (VIN: WB103200088ZT9957) has 14,700 miles and is being listed by the second owner, who claims the bike is like new. It has new tires, a new battery, and aftermarket mirrors (OEM units included). Find this Megamoto for sale in Sioux City, Iowa with bidding up to $6,000 and the reserve not yet met or a BIN of $11,900
