Post Listing Update: This XR1200 got not interest at the BIN of $6,899.

Ask a sport bike rider what their favorite Harley is and there’s a good chance their answer will be “none of them.” But for those in the know, the XR1200 was an unexpected joy from Milwaukee, the land of big twins and relaxed riding styles. Clearly drawing inspiration from the legendary XR750, Harley-Davidson released the XR1200 in Europe only at first, though US riders cried foul and the bike was quickly sold in the USA as well. Lots of people complained that the bike was only available in Europe, but not many actually got their checkbooks out once the bikes were available in American dealers. The model was discontinued after 2012 and it’s been a cult classic ever since.

This one-owner example has 6,712 miles and looks to be in good shape. It’s equipped with Harley’s optional Daymaker LED headlight and a short windscreen. I’d ditch the windscreen and then surprise your friends who think Harleys can only go in straight lines.
