Honda’s CRF450R has been a successful competitor in motocross for years – which also made it one of the first bikes that supermoto racers would convert for their purposes. This bike was built in 2010 and won a Canadian National Championship. It’s been in and out of commission since, but last spring it came back to life with a 2010 engine and now it’s ready for some more hooliganism.
In 2013 the seller put a bad aftermarket crank into the engine, and the bike sat until 2015 until the low hour 2010 engine was installed last year. Highlights of the build include Marchesini wheels, Brembo brakes (apparently the titanium 4-piston caliper was $1,749), Renthal bars, a Hinson slipper clutch, and a custom Pro Circuit exhaust. The moto has had the head ported and it’s got a bevy of new Honda parts – the seller says it’s “a full rebuild with no shortcuts.” At one point pre-rebuild the motor was dyno’d at 62.3 horsepower at the output shaft.
Find this CRF for sale in Toronto, Canada (but the seller will get it to Buffalo for free) for $7,500 here on Panjo through Supermoto Junkie.
