Many moons ago, I shared a great video of Chris Pfeiffer stunt riding through/on top of the BMW office building Munich – here it is again, if you want a refresher:
Pfeiffer had actually started with the F800S, but switched to the naked-equivalent R when it became available – to honor Chris, BMW created a limited run of 68 bikes called the Chris Pfeiffer Editions. Unfortunately, this is not one of those bikes, though it’s very close thanks to the lovely Motorsport blue/white/red paint scheme – all you need is to rip off the cowl, swap a white front rim, use a different exhaust and find some stickers. Or just enjoy this specific bike as is, which has already been given lots of great upgrades.
Said upgrades include a MiVV carbon fiber exhaust, Throttlemeister throttle lock, fork sliders, SpeedBleeders, extra Powerlet socket, and the factory luggage.
