A reminder that adventure bikes can occasionally look good, this KTM 990 is adorned in a 30th Anniversary Dakar livery that celebrates KTM’s first entry into the legendary race in 1981.

The 990 is one of the best adventure bikes of all time, especially for someone that spends lots of time in the dirt. It’s held up well enough that several publications have done comparison stories already with the 990 Adventure and the new 790 Adventure.

This example has 33,279 miles with a recent change of the engine oil, sprockets, and chain. As these bikes often do, it’s got a long list of farkles – Akrapovic titanium exhaust, Rottweiler intake with prefilters, Jesse bags, front forks with heavier springs and a revalve by Konflict…there’s a lot of good stuff.

Find this 990 Adventure for sale in Oregon City, Oregon for $8,250 or best offer here on ADVRider (registration required).
