The TM 250 MX is a rare sight in the United States. Based out of Italy, TM has been selling motorcycles since 1977 and has been producing exotic (and expensive) two-stroke machines with well-designed engines. TM’s engine designs were so good that they’ve been adopted by many teams in the World Karting Championships. After a brief hiatus starting in 2005, TM came back to the US in 2011 with this bike.
As a boutique Italian vehicle manufacturer, TM equips their motorcycles as you’d expect – very well. You get 50mm Marzhocci front forks, an Ohlins shock on the rear, switchable mapping, and trick parts all over the place. Want to learn more about TM? Check out their website here, or look into their distributors – there’s one in Upland, CA and one in College Park, MD.
This specific TM 250 MX is mostly stock, though as described above, ‘stock’ means you’ll still get lots of trick parts. In addition, however, you’ll get a suspension setup for a 165 pound rider and a custom FMF Turbine Core II spark arrestor. The seller also has more photos available here on his photobucket account.
Find this TM 250 MX here on ADVRider for $3,500 in Flagstaff, Arizona.
