Even from the title of this bike, you can guess it’s probably just a paint job and a signature – not that there’s anything wrong with that. Triumph took their T100 Bonneville and then made some cosmetic changes to remind you of McQueen’s TR6 Trophy in The Great Escape. A limited run of just 1,100 were built.
Said changes include the Matte Khaki Green paint, a stenciled logo, a solo seat with luggage rack, skid plate, smaller headlight, and of course – McQueen’s signature on the sidecovers. Oh, there’s also a plaque on the bars denoting the production number. Mechanically, it’s the same as a T100, complete with the nifty throttle bodies that look like carbs. This specific Triumph T100 Steve McQueen Edition is being offered by the original owner. It has 2,424 miles and is #567 of the 1,100 bikes. It’s claimed to be in perfect condition, and includes all the documentation from Triumph.
Find this Triumph T100 Steve McQueen Edition for sale here on Craigslist in Lakeville, Minnesota for $13,400 – a staggering $3,500 premium over the original MSRP, it seems.
