The rebirth of the Norton Commando now comes in 3 different models – the SF, the Sport, and this – the Norton Commando 961 Cafe Racer. Note that I’ve previously featured one of the limited production Special Edition models, as well.
All 961s get goodies like USD Ohlins forks. The cafe racer differs from the other models only in cosmetic features, as far as I can tell. Said features include the clip on handlebars and the carbon fiber flyscreen.
This specific Norton Commando 961 Cafe Racer (VIN: SAYCMC012DY005013) has just 91 miles and is claimed to be #3 of the original 10 that were brought to the US. With so few miles, there’s not much of a story to tell. The warranty is transferable, and that’s pretty much it. Buying one of these new requires sitting on a waiting list for months, if not a couple of years – according to two readers I’ve recently spoken to. Here’s your chance for instant gratification.
