To commemorate Danny Eslick’s victory of the 2014 Daytona 200 on the #69 Riders Discount Racing team, Triumph created a limited edition of their excellent Daytona 675R. 47 examples were produced, as it had been 47 years since they previously won the Daytona 200 (Gary Nixon, 1967).
Each bike was individually numbered and hand-signed by Eslick. Triumph upgraded the series with a combination of their own Genuine Accessories, aftermarket pieces, and a custom paint job from DrippinWet with a sponsor sticker package that closely matches the Daytona 200-winning bike. Upgrades included Attack Performance rear sets with Eslick and 69 milled out, Translogic quickshifter, Renthal grips, Renthal sprockets, 520 DID ERV3 gold chain, lower chain guard, red anodized chain adjustment blocks, swingarm spools, engine cover kit, seat cowl, and a billet oil filter cap and oil dipstick, both of which are pre-drilled for safety wire. Hopefully this will let you go as fast as Danny himself!
This example (VIN: SMTA02YK9EJ647182) is #12 of 47 examples produced. The odometer shows 6,040 miles and it’s on offer from the original dealership who sold this machine new – he recently bought it back from the original buyer.
