Post Sale Update: This custom Scrambler sold for $12,305 on Iconic Motorbike Auctions in Marina del Rey, California.
When Nathan and I went to the Quail last year, we got to enjoy a new category – one dedicated to the new Ducati Scrambler.
There were two that caught our eye: one that truly embraced the “Desert Sled” name…
…as well as the one that ended up winning the class, taking home the “Spirit of Scrambler” award which was presented by the CEO of Ducati North America, Jason Chinnock.
The latter (VIN: ML015ANM2GT007936) is now up for sale on Iconic Motorbike Auctions. It started as a Scrambler Full Throttle that went through an incident and was left with bent forks. The builder gave himself the design brief of “what if Bologna made a factory Super Hooligan racer?”
The seller estimates that he’s spent 2 years and $25,000 on this bike, which includes RSD wheels, Panigale rotors, Panigale forks, Ohlins steering damper, Ohlins shock, custom cowl/headlight/seat/exhaust, modified 900SS swingarm, Monster 1100 EVO rearsets, and of course, the custom paint. The seller says that he will also “design a custom graphic set per the new owner’s specifications.”
Find this custom Scrambler for sale in Marina del Rey, California with bidding up to $3,500 and the reserve not yet met here on Iconic Motorbike Auctions.
