My moto-journalist buddy Justin Westbrook is selling his Indian Scout – he bought it after falling in love with one during a cross-country ride for a series in Motorcyclist magazine, but he’s been spending more time in the dirt as of late so this Scout needs a new home.
I’m can understand why Justin fell in love as I’m a big fan of the Scout (much less so of the Scout Bobber), and this one’s got a whole bunch of factory accessories: the sport seat, touring windscreen, chrome tail rack, and leather saddlebags. It’s also got Progressive shocks and Progressive fork springs, plus a Vance & Hines slip-on that was never installed. Some of the photos also show some Wolfman luggage products that were utilized in the cross country trip but I don’t believe the sale includes them.
This example has roughly 25k miles and it’s crossed the country several times. All maintenance has been performed by Indian dealerships, mostly by his local one (Ride Now in Peoria, AZ). “It’s been an amazing bike that has taken me across the country multiple times in multiple directions. It’s perfect for bangin’ around town over the weekend, or loading it up and taking a long ride, like to Florida.”
Find this Scout for sale in Tempe, Arizona for $8,500 here on Craigslist.
