If you’ve been following Asphalt and Rubber (and you should be, especially with the excellent EICMA coverage), you’ve seen Jensen’s descent into madness with regards to racing.
His weapon of choice was a Kramer HKR EVO 2 S – here’s your chance to get an “R” if Jensen has inspired you. The one sentence difference is that the S is for trackdays and the R is for racing.
The R uses a KTM 690 motor (with the dual counterbalancers, thankfully) that’s good for 80 horsepower, and the bike weighs just 276 pounds! Brand new, the machine was $22,500. In addition to the standard “R” goodies of dual 290mm front brake discs, upgraded WP suspension, and a quickshifter, this example (VIN: 007) has forged magnesium OZ wheels, GP suspension 25mm cartridge kit, X-Trig adjustable offset triple clamps, and an Akrapovic full exhaust.
There’s also a ton of spares – a NOS 2017 KTM 690 motor with zero miles/zero hours, black Kramer frame, OZ forged aluminum wheels (the original spec), and some gears. I’m a little unclear about the story with the two sets of bodywork, but find this Kramer for sale in Santa Cruz, California for $21,000 here on Craigslist.
