A few years ago, Walt Siegl started building a limited run of custom motorcycles based on Ducati 900cc 2V engines – the idea was that by making a limited run, he could lower the cost a little bit, giving more people the chance to afford one. He called these bikes the Leggero series.
When new, the Leggeros retailed for just shy of $30k. They were based on air-cooled Ducati motors but each one (of 10) was built to the customer’s specifications so they varied dramatically. You can see some examples here. This one looks like it has a 1,000cc dual spark motor and it’s got Ohlins suspension, a SC project exhaust, open cluthc, carbon fiber belt covers, NCR oil cooler, and plenty more.
It has just 274 miles and a staggering asking price – find this Leggero for sale in Costa Mesa, California with a BIN of $49,880 here on eBay.
