Honda made plenty of news earlier this year with the launch of a 450cc dual-sport that was dirt-focused but could link trails with reasonable comfort on pavement.
Building dirt bikes is a tough proposition for OEMs – everyone’s got such varied requirements that it’s impossible to make everyone happy. That was reflected in some of the feedback Honda received, though I had the pleasure of riding one on a dry lake recently and I had a blast…
The seller of this example has had it for just two months and only ridden it 122 miles – he’s not happy with its performance in deep sand (though he notes that most miles were on pavement) and he’s letting it go. It’s got a few choice accessories, including Cycra hand guards, Seat Concept seat, Acerbis frame guards, Giant Loop handlebar bag, and a sticker kit to replicate the 2019 Honda MX livery.
The MSRP is $10,399 (plus a $380 destination charge and all the usual dealership fees). Find this 450L for sale here on ADVRider (registration required) in Navarre, Florida for $8,500, which seems like a pretty good deal for a barely used example if you know you want a 450L!
