2023 Moto Morini Seiemmezzo STR

In Italy, Standard by AbhiLeave a Comment

Moto Morini is back in the US! They’re starting with a lineup of three bikes – a scrambler, an adventure tourer, and this one – a naked street bike called the Seiemmezzo (Italian for “six and a half” as it’s got a 649cc engine) STR.

Just like with Benelli, Morini has been brought back to life by a Chinese company (in this case, Zhongneng Vehicle Group). Headquarters are in Trivolzio, Italy – where they claim the design was done – while production is handled at Zhongneng’s factory in Taizhou, China. The motor is made by CFMOTO and makes a claimed 61 hp/40 lb-ft. Dry weight is a claimed 441 pounds and components include Brembo floating calpiers, Bosch ABS, a 4.2 gallon fuel tank, 5″ TFT dash, LED lighting, and an impressively-long service interval: Morini says the first major service comes at 25,900 miles. The warranty is three years/unlimited miles.

There’s not much to say about this example (VIN: HL4PMVBA7PZ002640) as it’s brand new and on offer from EuroCycle. MSRP is said to be $7,499, so I’m surprised why this is being offered at a lower number. Or I should say sort-of surprised, I can’t imagine they’re selling lots of these but I figured it was an excuse to share something different…

Find this Morini for sale in Las Vegas, Nevada with an unmet opening bid of $4,000 or a BIN of $6,895 here on eBay.
