Over on the auction site we’ve got a hell of a 900SS/CR. If you want a 900SS to ride, the best one to get (in my opinion) is a SS/SP (or maybe a Final Edition, but that’s a discussion for later). But if you’re looking for an incredibly low mileage SS to display or (hopefully) put some miles on, this is one of the nicest I’ve seen in a while.
It has just 214 miles, and it’s been with the same family since new. The original owner rode it for a short period of time and then had to stop riding due to health issues. The bike was then put on display, and when he passed away in 2007 his nephew bought it. But his nephew doesn’t ride motorcycles, so he kept it as an art piece. The room where this was kept has been remodeled and there’s no longer room for it, so it needs a new owner. The seller states that it’s been refurbished and is ready to ride except for the fact that it’s still on the original battery. So, do you snap this up and keep it as a static piece, or do you add to the odometer?
Find this SS/CR for sale in Holland, Michigan with bidding up to $6,200 and the reserve not yet met here on Iconic Motorbike Auctions.
