Post Listing Update: This Panigale did not get any interest at the BIN of $28,000 on eBay.
Built to celebrate Ducati’s 90th anniversary, the 1299 Panigale S Anniversario was more than the gorgeous tri-colore paint scheme and gold metal pieces – it also introduced the EVO versions of Ducati’s Traction and Wheelie Control systems.
The EVO name signified that Ducati was utilizing data from the Bosch IMU to make the electronic safety nets smarter, allowing for riders to play around a bit more – the extra data allowed for Ducati to also introduce slide control. For more on what Ducati did to differentiate the Anniversario, check out this story on Asphalt & Rubber.
This example (VIN: ZDM14BYW7HB007089) is #249 of the 500 built and it has just 475 miles. The 600 mils service has been completed. Unfortunately, it looks like it’s had a stationary tipover which caused a crack in the lower right fairing, a scuff on the engine case, and a scratch on the right side bar end.
