Over on the auction site we’ve got an interesting example of a classic Ducati which hasn’t seen any miles but has seen better days. It’s an interesting collector piece (plus it’s still on the original MSO) though there’s definitely some “patina” so we’ll see what the market thinks of it.
Manufactured in June of 1979, this example is VIN: 950481. The seller acquired it from “British Imports Limited in South Carolina six months ago”. British Imports LTD. were the original owners, they had the motorcycle imported via Berliner Motor Corporation in New Jersey. The odometer shows three kilometers.
The seller notes this motorcycle has never been dealer prepped, and no gas has ever been inside of the tank. It is riding on the original Pirelli Gordon tires. The bummer is that there is “general patina from storage, and small pitting on the rear right pipe.”
Find this Darmah for sale in Rock Hill, South Carolina with bidding up to $7,100 and the reserve not yet met here on Iconic Motorbike Auctions.
