Well, it looks like some bikes from the Larry Klein estate sale last month are now hitting the market again. One of the highlights was this basically new V11, so it’s no surprise to see it up on Craigslist now. Original MSRP of this Le Mans was $12,690, and this reseller is hoping to get a bit more than half of that.
The 1064cc V-Twin engine put down 92 horsepower (expect about 78 at the rear wheel through the shaft drive). But does that matter in this case? This bike/sale is a little weird to me. If you want to treat this like a new bike and ride it, you’ll have to invest a bit of TLC to make sure it’s been stored properly. You could store it in your collection but this isn’t a particularly rare or unique bike. So, what do you do? I’m guessing it makes the most sense to just treat it like a new bike, make sure everything’s OK, and then put some miles on it.
Find this V11 for sale in White Lake, Michigan for $6,995 here on Craigslist. For what it’s worth, the last time I featured a similar bike (a ’02 Le Mans with 4 miles) it sold for $8,000.
