The Triumph Tiger was the little brother of the Bonneville, born again in ’71 with the new oil-in-frame chassis. This example stands out as it’s got just 344 miles!
The Tiger was remarkably similar to the Bonneville. The 650cc twin got two carbs in the Bonnie, but only one carb in the Tiger. The Tiger’s engine was good for 48 horsepower, propelling the bike to 103 miles per hour. Want to learn more? Check out this excellent writeup from Real Classic about how the Tiger was born.
This specific Triumph Tiger is a lovely Pacific Blue with Polar White stripes paint scheme, and remarkably has just 555 kilometers on its European spec odometer. It’s only had two owners since new, and spent several years in collections and storage.
