Introduced in 1981, the Yamaha DT50 (also known as the DT50MX) was barely updated throughout its 15-year production run.
It was powered by a 49cc 2-stroke single and made for an excellent pit/camp bike that could even be ridden into town thanks to the street-legal equipment. The late 80s liquid-cooled models had a 6-speed transmission, which helped the bike get up to about 50 miles per hour. Despite the tiny motor, the ergonomics were comfortable for larger riders.
This example (VIN: JYA3BKA07KC015495) has just 379 miles and it’s offered by a collector who says that he got it from the original owner. He also says that it runs and does not have any rust, dent, or scratches.
