Post Listing Update: This ‘berg was pulled off of eBay, final sale price unknown.
The Husaberg 570 shared a few components (like the swingarm and the WP suspension with the KTM 560 SMR supermoto), but this bike took it one step further. The seller calls Husaberg “the Lexus to KTM’s Toyota”, which sort of works as a comparison. No matter how you consider the brand, this is one of their last masterpieces before KTM bought Husqvarna and decided that Husky would continue on at the expense of its Swedish sibling.
In 2008, Husaberg debuted a nearly horizontal cylinder (20 degrees off the ground) which helped them repackage the chassis and give the rider more ground clearance along with a lower center of gravity. Really the only flaw seems to have been that it’s tough to find neutral occasionally as the FS570 doesn’t have a neutral indicator light. For more on why you’d want the FS570, check out this review from Moto123 – who basically conclude that it’s the best supermoto out there but for the original MSRP of $11,199, it should have been!
This bike (VIN: VBKHAN408BM552623) has just 39 miles and it sounds like it’s being offered by the original owner, who starts the bike every two weeks, lets it idle, and ‘sometimes rides it around the block.’ With the exception of the 3 Brothers sticker and an ECU reflash (to what the seller calls European Race settings), this bike is stock. I’m guessing this is the lowest-mile FS570 out there, if you’ve been looking for one. Hopefully you’ll want to put some miles on it, though.
