#4 – 1999 Victory V92C

In America, Cruiser by Abhi1 Comment

By all accounts, the first generation of the Victory V92C was not an excellent bike – but the first bike for any new motorcycle manufacturer is bound to have some teething issues. Over 15 years later, Victory is still going strong, but it all gets traced back to the V92C. Here’s a special, one-owner example of the breed: #4 off the assembly line.

When it was released, the 1,510cc engine was the second biggest production motorcycle engine available – but it put out 55 horsepower at the wheel (quickly bumped to 83 horsepower via cams and pistons). It seems the 1st bike went into Victory’s corporate museum, and bikes 2 and 3 went to management. This bike (VIN: 5VPCB1502X3000004) went to someone who served on the Board of Directors for Polaris (the sole owner), has 4,617 miles, and has had the factory fix for a noisy transmission that plagued many of these bikes already taken care of. Note that there’s some minor scratches and the right passenger floorboard has a little bit of corrosion on the chrome. Find this V92C for sale in River Falls, Wisconsin for $13,500 here (maybe unexpectedly?) at Mark’s 650 Yamahas.
