A seller in Asheville, North Carolina is letting go of 5 bikes that tell me he’s got a similar taste in motorcycles to most of you. Act fast, though, because the auctions are ending in just a few hours! All but the Laverda have met reserve so they’re getting new owners. In the seller’s words, “I am selling a number of bikes to make way for a vintage motorcycle I have been chasing for years.” Help him pursue his dream while adding to your collection!

In order of my personal preference, we’ve got:

1. 1977 Laverda Jarama. VIN: 5800, 8,823 miles. Extensive restoration in the past but there’s still some cosmetic issues (dents in the tank, cracked left side cover that’s been fixed with JB Weld on the inside). Find it with bidding up to $10,300 and the reserve not yet met

2. 1974 Ducati 750GT. VIN: 755749, 11,667 miles. Cosmetic restoration with top end motor rebuild. Find it with bidding up to $20,220

3. 1978 BMW R100RS Motorsport. VIN: 6183302, has 5,751 miles. Nice shape with a few new parts and a Works rear shock. Find it with bidding up to $10,100

4. 1973 Honda XL350. VIN: XL3501014726, 6,196 miles. This is a “hot rod” build that took 6 months. Highlights include a new JE piston that’s been bored .40 over, valve job, Mikuni 36mm carb with K&N filter, Redwing shocks, rebuilt forks, and a whole bunch of new replacement Honda parts. With the Avon street tires, and re-gearing via different sprocket sizes, the seller says it “makes for a really fun “hypermotard style” riding experience.”

5. 1968 BSA Lightning. VIN: A65SB2853, 405 miles after a restoration. Features a Lightning motor in a Spitfire frame with Amal Premier carbs and velocity stacks. The seller sums it up by saying “this is not a highly collectable, numbers matching machine. It is a very well put together machine with a fresh motor matched to a set of new AMAL carbs, It’s an absolute blast to drive.” Find it with bidding up to $4,331

Which one do you want to take home? I’m very curious to know what bike this guy is making room for…
