Silodrome called the Honda ATC250R the “fastest three-wheeled death machines in the West.” So I’m highly curious about what they’d call this example, which instead features a 500cc two-stroke engine!
The seller of this example (VIN: JH3TB0608FC403880) says it’s “an alcohol burning HRC big-bore two-stroke,” built by Tayler Hansen of Hansen Sled & Cycle.
The engine was rebuilt with Crankworks billet pro rods, Packard Enterprises-ported cylinders, Wiseco pistons, CRF450 clutch lifter pancake bearing conversion, Wiseco clutch basket, and plenty more. It’s a very long list of new parts, and the seller estimates that it would cost $32k to reproduce it as is:
