I actually featured another MGS-01 from this seller in Italy last month, so at first I thought this was simply a relist. Nope, turns out they just have another one in inventory. This is #34, and it has just 60 miles.
I don’t want to rehash everything I said in that last post, but this bike is so tantalizing because it demonstrated the potential Guzzi had to create a world-class sportbike to complement their standard/cruiser-dominated model lineup. Alas, it wasn’t meant to be, as just 150 examples of a track-only version called the Corsa were developed and the planned street-legal variant called the Serie never happened.
Basic numbers were 122 horsepower, 83 pound-feet of torque, and 420 pound dry weight. For an excellent history of the Corsa, check out this article on OddBike.
This example (VIN: ZGULRRA004M1OO34) is said to be in perfect condition and basically new. The sale includes the original manual, stand, and cover. Find this MGS-01 for sale in Piano, Italy with bidding up to $12,101 and the reserve not yet met
