Built by Johann Keyser of Moto Motivo, this custom (and gorgeous) Ducati is a tribute to a Ducati 750 F1 Bol d’Or endurance racer.
The bike started as a 1993 Ducati 900SS and it features the 1000cc dual spark engine from a 2005 Ducati 1000SS. Johann built it as a replica for a colleague who loved the Ducati 750 F1 Bol d’Or endurance race bike, though that’s basically impossible to find. The wheels are also from a 1000SS, and per the builder the “gas tank is from a 1989 Ducati 750 Sport that I imported from Japan. The seat unit is an original Ducati 750 F1 seat. The fairing is aftermarket. The titanium exhaust was made by StradaFab.”
The owner of the bike passed passed away and a friend of the estate is representing the sale. The professional images are from the builder, though this image was recently taken as the seller flush the fuel, lubed the chain, and installed a new battery as the bike had been “in proper storage for the last couple of years, covered and on a smart charger.”
This listing definitely needs more pictures, though the seller has a cold start video/walkaround that’ll show you more details on the bike:
