Built between 1999-2002, the 996 was updated in 2000 with new 5-spoke Marchesini wheels and upgraded front forks. In 2001, Ducati gifted the 996 a rear shock from Ohlins. Arguably, none of the performance benefits will matter with this bike, as it has just 8 miles and I seriously doubt the next owner is going to want to increase that number any time soon.
This example (VIN: ZDM1SB5T11B011547) is in “virtually showroom condition” with just 8 miles on the odometer. The seller (Marin Speed Shop) doesn’t share much about the history of this bike and why it has just 8 miles.
