Post Sale Update: This BMW BCR sold for $9,600 after 29 bids on eBay in Columbia, Pennsylvania.
The base model R11S was a wonderful all-around streetbike similar to the Honda VFR800. BMW went above and beyond with a couple of limited editions, including the Boxer Cup Replika as featured today. BMW created a spec series to race these bikes, and 300 examples were released as a homage. They were equipped with Ohlins suspension, Laser exhaust, and custom paint with Randy Mamola’s signature. This one stands out as it’s covered just 92 miles.
This example (VIN: WB10432A64ZB53513) is #202 of 300 and it’s still equipped with the original tires. It’s also got extra carbon fiber, bar risers, and an aftermarket shocks on both ends with a Eibach spring in the rear.
This comes with an impressive collection of memorabilia – a BMW CD, the numbered badges (never installed), BMW atlas, keyring, tire pressure gauge, BMW Motorrad history book, and the Certificate of Authenticity.
