Here we’ve got two pretty examples of Ducati’s 750 Sport – one of the few bikes that I think looks good in yellow. (I look forward to you showing me why I’m wrong). Both have been restored and are waiting for new riders, though they’re on opposite sides of the country.
The first one is on the East Coast. It’s been restored by a noted Ducati specialist and is claimed to be “very correct” with Scarab brakes, Borrani rims, Dell’orto carbs…the usual stuff.

The other (VIN: DM750S756065DGM95) is on the Best Coast after spending the last 20 years in a private collection in Italy. It should be noted that while all the paperwork on this bike (including the first registration) shows it as a 750 Sport, there have been some questions suggesting that this is actually a converted GT. One of the big ‘issues’ is the wide frame, though Ian Falloon has noted that some 750 Sports were indeed built on wide frames from the factory. The bike has been certified by the Italian Historical Auto & Motorcycle Club and the Automotoclub Storico Italiano, but I just wanted you to be aware.
It was apparently restored 15 years ago and the bike just had a new battery installed and the carbs rebuilt. It’s available at a $4k discount from the other bike, but this only has Italian papers, it has not yet been registered in the US.
