Honda’s about to release the newest version of the Gold Wing (I’m flying to Austin next week to try it out, but more on that later), but today we’re going back a few decades to the GL1100. That was the generation in which Honda introduced the Interstate model, the first full-dress tourer offered by a Japanese manufacturer right from the factory floor. This example has been put to good use with a healthy 99,400 miles on the odometer, but it also just received $3k in work and the seller says it’s ready for another 90k miles!
The seller doesn’t include many photos but the bike looks to be in impressive cosmetic condition for the age and mileage. Recent work included a rebuilt master cylinder, new brakes, new battery, and new rear springs. The work was done by a shop in Washington state and the seller has all of the associated paperwork. It’s been in the seller’s family since he was just 2 years old but he doesn’t get a chance to ride it much any more as he has other bikes he puts miles on. He’s got the full maintenance history and the bike is said to be in perfect working order.
Find this Gold Wing for sale here on Craigslist in Culver City, California for $2,750. If you buy it, come say hi – I live 5 minutes away!
