Built for Australia and New Zealand, the AG175 was Yamaha’s creation for the agricultural market – specifically designed for the needs of people like ranch hands.
The long list of agricultural-specific changes included two air filters, lever guards, “waterproof and dustproof” drum brakes, a 5-speed transmission with neutral at the bottom, full chain cover, side stand with a larger foot, extra large rear rack, a seat designed to “withstand rain and even the claws of animals,” foot peg guards, and even a fuel tank with a “flat, gripping surface so that items or animals can be carried with ease.” Want to learn more? This example shows 2,215 kilometers on the odometer. It’s unclear when it was imported to the US but it’s got a title and new tires. The seller says that everything works and that it’s “all original.”
