Zero is the largest ‘all electric’ motorcycle manufacturer and a survivor of the rush to electrics. They have consistently pushed the needle in performance and usability.
This 2011 is the second year that Zero produced a motorcycle. It is rated at 50 miles per charge and it takes about 4 hours and 60 cents in electricity cost to get it ready to go for another charge. Since the introduction of this model Zero has claimed 200 miles per charge and has an upgraded (much faster) charger.
This example is the DS model which is taller and a more neutral seating position than their S model, with a weight of 277 pounds. It has an astounding amount of shock travel, is belt driven with no transmission. Turn the handle and go.
It is a bit raggedy but this is a chance to own an absolutely unique motorcycle. Find this Zero DS for sale here on Craigslist for $3,000 in Phoenix, Arizona.
One final word: If you are selling a motorcycle find something more appropriate for a side stand block than your shoe. I’m just sayin’.
