There will be two winners – one in the 0-14 age category and one in the 15-up category. To enter, use one of these files from Alpinestars and submit it on Instagram with the hashtag #SM5DesignContest. The deadline is Saturday, January 2nd. Check out the entire lineup of A* dirt helmets here. I’ve got a SM8 that I love except for two things – it’s tough to get helmet communicators in it and it’s bright orange. The second issue might be my fault, because I asked Alpinestars for the “loudest” color they could hit me with for a photoshoot with Honda’s CRF450L. OK, it’s definitely my fault. Except for the tight ear ports, it’s a fantastic helmet (and it’s packing MIPS, which you should definitely want in your next lid).
