There aren’t enough art exhibits about motorcycles, which is why I’m glad to pass along that the Richmond Art Center in Richmond, California currently has Countersteer in the main gallery through November 22nd. Per the art center, this exhibit “examines personal expression through the medium of the motorcycle” through “fourteen custom build motorcycles, each reflecting a particular purpose and creative sensibility.”
It starts with a 1909 Harley and goes all the way up to a “parts-bin” special built in 2013. I wasn’t able to make it up to the opening as Richmond is 350 miles away from my home, so I unfortunately have no personal experience to share with you. But if you’re local, I’d love to hear what you think!
If you’re in the LA area, make sure you’ve stopped by the Petersen for Electric Revolution!
