In Nashua, New Hampshire on May 8th, 2020, J. Wood & Company is offering the inventory of Dude Wheeler’s Gate City Cycle Center – all at no reserve!
The bulk of the lots are vintage Triumphs (the shop was founded in 1959) ranging “from projects to show quality”, and there’s “a handful of Japanese bikes thrown in as well.”
Some personal highlights include a first-year (1959) Bonneville:
A 1962 Bonneville in a Euro colorway that wasn’t available in the US:
and a 1973 Triumph Hurricane built by Dude out of NOS parts, said to still be in new condition.
The auction will also include parts (NOS and used), tools, and even several buildings.
