Back in April, I let you know about a large auction by Mach IV Motors as they were clearing out 180 motorcycles. They accumulated more parts and bikes throughout the year, and it looks like it’s time for another auction!
As a reminder, Mach IV Motors is based out of Appleton, Wisconsin. The say that they are “here for all your Kawasaki NOS parts and classic bike needs”, though they have plenty of other vintage machinery in their inventory. The live auction is on January 18th, and there are 96 motorcycles available. If you can’t make it in person, online bidding is currently available in advance, though there’s a 16% premium for online bidding versus 5% for in-person. Bidding on these kinds of bikes can be tough – the auctioneers are only sharing frame number, engine number, mileage, if it has a title, and if the engine turns over or not. Your guess is as good as mine if any of these run…
With that said, here are a few interesting options from the 96 lots:
Montesa Scorpion 50 – the engine doesn’t turn over, but I’m just featuring it for the visual enjoyment.
