Last month we saw some great bikes – but did they sell? And if so, for how much?
This summary will only include listings from eBay and other auction sites. I unfortunately have no way of finding out final sale prices of bikes offered on Craigslist/Cycle Trader/Kijiji/etc. With that said, here are some highlights from last month:
C&J Framed – Norton 750 Flat Tracker – sold for $9,100 after 66 bids on eBay in Bethlehem, Pennsylvania.
1948 Panther Model 60 – sold for $3,839 after 27 bids on eBay in San Clemente, California.
1 of 1500 – 2018 Ducati Panigale V4 Speciale – sold for $26,900 after 35 bids on eBay in Orlando, Florida.
1985 Yamaha RZ350 Custom – sold for $6,600 after 20 bids on eBay in Sand Springs, Oklahoma.
New Auction Bike – 2006 Honda RC51 SP2 – sold for $7,704 including buyer’s fee on Iconic Motorbike Auctions Powered by Bike-urious. The buyer gets bonus points because he’s doing a fly-and-ride from Los Angeles back home to Colorado!
1981 Honda Gorilla – sold for $3,850 after 40 bids on eBay in Austin, Texas.
1969 Lady Yamaha U5 – sold for $1,275 after 10 bids on eBay in Clermont, Florida.
McCandless Swingarm Conversion – 1931 Norton International – sold for the BIN of $17,500 on eBay in Brewster, New York.
New Auction Bike – No Reserve Honda Motocompo – sold for $3,550 including buyer’s fee on Iconic Motorbike Auctions Powered by Bike-urious.
Here’s some stuff that didn’t sell:
Motorcorsa’s Nicky Hayden Tribute for Charity – 2019 Ducati Panigale V4 Custom – relisted multiple times at lower prices (eventually $55,000) but it never got an opening bid in Portland, Oregon on eBay.1980 HMV Freeway – did not meet reserve despite 10 bids up to $2,800 in Morgantown, Pennsylvania on eBay.
Restomod – 1983 Suzuki GS1100E – did not meet reserve with 2 bids up to $5,000 on eBay in Chepachet, Rhode Island.
In Australia – 1976 Suzuki TR750 Replica – did not meet reserve despite 14 bids up to $7,800 in Somerville, Victoria, Australia. It was then relisted with the seller noting that if it did not sell (with a $30,000 BIN option) that “it’s off the market for good and back into [his] collection”, but it had just 3 bids up to $7,200 so it presumably won’t be for sale again for a while.
1969 Norton Commando Fastback – did not meet reserve despite 53 bids up to $4,950 on eBay in Pittstown, New Jersey.
Ending Soon – 1913 Excelsior Big Twin with Sidecar – did not meet reserve despite 40 bids up to $48,100 on eBay in Alto, Michigan.
Original Owner – 2009 BMW HP2 Sport – did not meet reserve despite 20 bids up to $11,099 on eBay in Dickerson, Maryland.
New In Crate – 2003 Harley-Davidson FLSTSI 100th Anniversary – did not meet reserve despite 45 bids up to $24,980 on eBay in Port Washington, New York.
49 of 300 – 2001 Moto Guzzi V11 Sport Rosso Mandello – did not meet reserve despite 9 bids up to $5,600 on eBay in Oakland, California.
