Starting with a 999S racebike, Stefano Venier of Venier Customs ditched the plastics and turned it into a naked (and much more elegant) streetbike called the Ducati 999VX.
The finished product was good enough to be featured on several sites, including BikeEXIF. The bike was originally created for photographer Riccardo Vimercati, who already had plenty of go-fast parts on the bike – it was putting down over 150 horsepower before going under the knife.
This Ducati 999VX then had the plastics stripped off and was given a new subframe, leather seat, and spoked rims from a GT1000. It’s all topped off with Termignoni Corse headers and a Zard muffler.
