Post Listing Update: This Nero Corsa was relisted at an opening bid of $8,200, but it still got no interest.
The last of the spine frame Guzzis, the Nero Corsa was a beautiful limited edition of the V11 LeMans. I’ve seen rumors that just 200 were built (50 of which made it to the US), but I have not been able to confirm that with an official source.
Unlike other special editions, this got some non-cosmetic ugprades over other V11s, so in addition to the 91 horsepower V-Twin engine, you got Brembo Series Oro brakes, Ohlins suspension and a dual plate clutch. It also had different (and in my opinion, much better) visuals for the gauges and updated ECU mapping.
This example (VIN: ZGUKTC00X4M1112950) has been with the seller since October 2013 – since that time he’s put just over 1,500 miles on it to bring the total up to 9,024. He says the bodywork and paint is like new and it comes with H&B saddlebags (branded as Guzzi items), a SW-Motech tank bag, and Moto Guzzi bar risers. It is said to otherwise be stock.
