Based out of Sandy, Utah, Blue Collar Bobbers produces bolt on kits to give people an easy way to customize their bike “into an old school, nostalgic hot rod.” Here’s a Kawasaki Ninja 250 that’s equipped with the BCB Cafe Racer kit (no longer available).
It’s an interesting concept for people who don’t have the time, tools, or skill to create a full-blown custom – just buy a kit that fits your bike and bolt it on. Some of you may also be familiar with Ryca Motors, who offer similar concepts for the Suzuki Savage and Harley-Davidson Sportster. The Ninja kit is sold as “a complete cafe racer in two large boxes,” and it includes aluminum fenders and bodywork, lighting, CNC’d gauge housing for the sock instruments), seat, Shinko front tire, and a DVD installation guide.
The seller of this example says it has 800 miles on it (unclear if that’s total or since the kit was installed). The decals have been clearcoated and the bike comes with a center stand. You can obviously find more performance for less money, but this is the first time I had heard of Blue Collar Bobbers and their kits so I figured I’d share it. Find this Kawasaki Ninja for sale in Madison, Connecticut for $5,020 here on Facebook.
