Post Sale Update: After 26 bids on eBay, this custom Harley sold for $21,100.
Built by Jeff Leighton, this Harley won Best in Show at Born Free 8 – beating out an insane dual-CB750 engine’d build (sorry, link isn’t in English but the pictures are universal). Unfortunately, it looks like his shop was broken into during an international trip, and so he has to let go of one of his interesting customs.
In addition to the win at Born Free, this bike was invited to the Mooneyes Yokohama Hot Rod Custom Show last year and it’s been featured in several magazines and websites. An early 40s frame has been paired with a ’42 UL motor that’s been rebuilt and polished. Other highlights include a chrome-plated M51 Linkert carb, chromed Vard MFG front end, Borrani wheels, Speed E Shifter, custom paint, and more. The seller hand fabricated the foot pegs, brake pedal, bar risers, 2-into-4 exhaust, tail lights, and fender struts.
Per Jeff, this is a show bike that runs flawlessly. In his words, “I don’t think there is another bike on the market that looks as nice and works as perfectly as this bike.” What do you think? Either way, find this custom Harley for sale in Orange, California with bidding up to $16,100
