Post Sale Update: This little Wombat sold for $2,999 after 51 bids on eBay.
Based out of North Dakota, Danny Messmore currently runs a dealership called Action Motor Sports. But for Hodaka fans, Danny is best known as one of the original dealers for their beloved bikes – and he’s built a few specials over the years as well. Here’s one of Danny’s builds that has been setup to compete in AHRMA Classic Trials.
Highlights of the build include Wassell alloy tank and fenders, the forks and triple trees from a Suzuki RL250, electronic ignition from a Kawasaki KX65, Renthal bars, and a custom exhaust. Everything is said to work but there’s no title, just a bill of sale. Danny has also built a trials special hybrid combining a Kawasaki KT250 frame with a Hodaka 250 motor.
