Post Sale Update: After 15 bids on eBay, this Mille GT sold for $4,161.
A rarity even in the world of Guzzis, the Moto Guzzi Mille GT 1000 was a standard bike that could arguably be considered a blend between the California and the T5.
The 948cc engine pushes out 65 horsepower and 54 pound-feet of torque, but the whole package was a little bit of an oddball. This specific Moto Guzzi Mille GT 1000 is even more of an oddball, as it has had some cosmetic work done after a drop. To be frank, this is more of a project than the usual bikes I feature, but they’re so hard to come across that I suspect someone will still want this to bring it back to its former glory.
The seller notes that the instrument panel has been replaced with Ducati 900SS Veglia gauges and a RZ350 headlight, plus its missing a side cover. Frustratingly, the seller doesn’t take a picture from the front (hence, butterface) to show you what the new headlight looks like. The bike has under 29k miles and has been modified to a “Bol d’Or” style.
