Buy My Bike With No Reserve – 1965 Honda CB160

In Japan, Small Displacement by AbhiLeave a Comment

Post Sale Update: My CB160 sold for $3,005 plus a $250 buyer’s fee after 25 bids on Iconic. The bike was bought for $3,250 so that was basically a wash and I lost a few hundred on the parts I ordered. Life moves on!

As you may have seen over the last couple of weeks here on Bike-urious, I’m planning on going racing in the Moto Le Mans (CB160-ish) class with AHRMA. I bought an example that I later decided was too nice to race, so I bought a rougher one that had already been hacked up and I’m going to sell the nice one. Well, that time has come, so I’m putting it up for sale over on my auction site with no reserve. I hope it goes to a good home!

If the above is news to you, I’d recommend that you check out the three parts of the story so far:

This example is VIN: B1609005402 and the odometer shows 10,573 miles. The above posts will give you all the history I’ve got on it, though here’s my new baby if you’re curious as I haven’t written a post about the arrival yet here on Bike-urious:

The one that I’m letting go is an absolute joy and there’s part of me that wants to keep it, but I’m more emotionally connected to the Honda S90 I bought Vy (even though it’s not as good of a bike) and I generally need all the free cash I can spare to keep Iconic going. I can’t wait to meet the new owner of this thing!
