I have to admit, at first glance I thought this was just a poorly repainted Ninja 250. But it’s actually a KRR150, a mini two-stroke that was never officially sold in the US.
The KRR was built for Asian markets – they sold best in countries like Malaysia, Indonesia, and Thailand. It’s tough to find definitive information on them, but it appears this generation was good for roughly 30 horsepower and 20 lb-ft of torque with a Mikuni 28mm carb, 6-speed transmission, and 17″ wheels.
The seller acquired it in 2018 and he’s cleaned the carb, changed the spark plug, and replaced the tires. He notes that “the bike takes some work to get it started after it has been sitting for a while. I use a starter fluid that has a lubricant in it and I usually have it started and running after 2-3 sprays.” The odometer shows 9,243 kilometers (5,743 miles) and it’s somehow got a California plate with current registration.
Find this KRR for sale in San Anselmo, California with bidding up to $2,000 and the reserve already met here on eBay.
