Post-Listing Update: Bah. It seems this MC21 has already been pulled off of eBay – guess it sold already.
Honda’s NSR250R was sold from ’87 to ’99, and was pretty much the defining 250 racer replica over all those years. The Rothman’s livery was quite popular, but the MC21 generation also had a rare paint Cabin Tobacco paint scheme. This is one of those 2,500 examples, none of which were officially imported to the US.
The 249cc 2-stroke engine was good for about 45 horsepower and the bike weighed less than 300 pounds. Want to learn more? Head on over to NSR-World for all the information you’d want on these 250cc pocket rockets.
Because of the lack of importation, this bike (VIN: MC211001387) just has a Canadian title (though it was legally imported with US customs and DOT documentation). It also has just 724 miles, and has spent time in multiple private collections. It comes with both original keys, the tool pouch, a few books and even the Honda parts/assembly microfiche.
