9-8-17 Update: Almost a year later, contributor Tim Huber notes that this bike is back up for sale with a $2k discount – you can find it for $9,500 in Cornelia, Georgia here on Craigslist.
The MV Agusta Brutale is a pretty powerful machine to begin with. The stock 2010 Brutale 1090RR puts out a claimed 144HP. Combine that with the cachet of MV’s glorious racing history and some serious Italian sex-on-wheels design, and you have a pretty compelling package. So what could make it better? Well, how about an extra 21 HP and a liberal dosing of carbon fiber and several trips to the Rizoma toy store?
This Brutale has been treated to a special MV upgrade called the very un-Italian “Cannonball” package. Long story short, it includes a whole new head, valves, cams, ECU and complete titanium exhaust system…it all comes together for an extra 21 horsepower. For more on what the Cannonball package comes with, check out this article on Sport Rider

The listing has lots of detail on the Cannonball kit, as well as a good collection of pictures showing all the various Rizoma bits and carbon fiber, and there is a LOT:
So, if you feel the need for speed with some Italian class, head over to this listing on Craigslist in Atlanta, Georgia. Asking price for entry to this exclusive MV club is $11,500, but hey, you get the radar detector thrown in!
